The Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) is a Technical Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum which is organized across the country into ten Regions.

The Annual Alberta Regional CMP Conference aims to feature discussions on plant operations, plant start-ups and improvements, application of new or new-to industry technologies, equipment and instrumentation, tailings management, bitumen extraction process improvements, process aids and other with an opportunity to meet companies who work on improving efficiency, focus on innovation and environmental responsibility.
